In 1992 Andy Maxwell, Brendan Maxwell and there father Terry Maxwell set up a home improvements company.  The company originally made its name and reputation in the difficult home improvements industry, growing very quickly over the next 10 years to become the midlands LARGEST home improvements company, the way they did this was by recommendation  due to willingness to help and going the extra mile for there customers.

The company then diversified into several other areas and became very successful in namely manufacturing, a very successful computer network and I.T. Company and also an overseas property company selling over £200 million pounds worth of property in its first two years giving a combined gross turn over in excess of £20 million in 2002.

In 2004 Andy Maxwell sold out of all of the companies except for Amber Estate Agents (which Andy still owns).  In 2005 when Andy’s sons left school he poached the best fitter from his previous company and asked him to train his son’s in the industry and therefore set up Maxwell & Sons Home Improvements which is a small family run business with family values, that works above and beyond the standards set by The Guild of Master Craftsmen of which we are proud to be a member of.

We are also now undertaking Extentions, Bathrooms, Fitted Kitchens, Electrical Re-Wireing and Block Paving.
